Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. In Bangladesh, we provide products such as bank accounts, debit cards, personal loans, online banking as well as unique services to meet the international banking needs of our high net worth and employee banking customers.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Senior Relationship Manager in Gulshan Branch.

In this role, you will:

• Develop relationship and retain the existing customers through selling and cross selling the bank’s WPB Products and maintains set service standards to ensure quality services to the customers

• Drive through set strategy and generate lead by accurate analysis of the portfolio

• Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.

• Identify, reengineer and improve existing process and service of WSB and WPB with a view to increase efficiency and optimize cost, manages projects as assigned by management

• Maintain and develop awareness among staff of operational risks and minimize the likelihood of its occurrence, implements and observes Group compliance policy

• Mentor personal bankers and take refreshing sessions regarding product knowledge and service issues

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a public/private university

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating

• Planning, organising, problem solving analytical skills and team management skill

• Knowledge and understanding of relevant group compliance, operation standard, audit and risk standards

• Proven track record in relationship management in the retail sector.

As per BRPD circular no. 03/2023, Banking or Financial Institute staffs who have had a promotion after 08 February 2023 will fall under the purview of the new guidelines for the next level of promotion. Completion of the Banking Professional Exam (JAIBB & AIBB) will be necessary for any subsequent level of promotion.
